Little Georgia

Posted by Alix on 19 April 2008

Had dinner last night at Little Georgia, just down from Broadway Market. It’s a jolly lovely place to eat; I had some delicious kharcho (the recipe I link to describe it as a soup but mine was a stew) as a main, and tasty tasty hachapuri and another type of cheesy meaty breads whose name I’ve forgotten, for starters. The staff were wonderfully friendly but not over friendly. So important to get this right, and I think they succeeded. My only disappointment was that the pilmeni were off when we ate – having tried to make this myself with limited success I would have liked to see how it’s done properly.

The internet gives me to understand that this place has had a somewhat troubled recent past (this Roger Wratten sounds like a nasty piece of work), so I wish it all the best for the future.
